We take pride in providing you with a comfortable office experience. Our qualified staff includes two receptionists/administrative assistants, one RN, one LPN, and certified surgical technician, an office manager, and one physician.

As a licensed podiatrist in Muskegon & Shelby, MI, we believe our patients deserve to have the information needed to make good choices about their foot and ankle care. Our goal is to educate each patient and begin a relevant treatment program with the highest quality of care available. Whatever your foot and ankle trouble, we'll work together to find the answers that will comfort you and bring you relief.

Diabetic foot care provided at this center parallels the recommendation guidelines set forth by the Joslin Diabetes Center and New England Deaconess-Beth Israel Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and Boston Medical Center, Boston, MA. The physician and staff of the Diabetic Foot Management Center of MI, P.C. have provided numerous hours of community education and screening of the diabetic foot with subsequent treatment of numerous diabetic-related disorders, such as pressure sores, ulcerations, and infections, with limb salvage of 95%.

Infection control, with restoration of impaired circulation and physician-restricted glucose management, combined with aggressive wound care management, is the key. Emphasis is placed on patient education, daily inspection of feet, with immediate report of any breakdown of the skin.

Dear patient, please remember we are in the age of Limb Salvation. Our advice to you is never to allow your leg to be amputated due to a diabetic-related foot infection without getting a second opinion. If your leg cannot be saved locally, there are numerous referral centers we can send you to where your needs may be better served.
